In this Ted Talk Markus Fischer showed us how a machine bird flies. He explained how the a balance between the aerodynamics and the weight made a difference. I thought that it was awesome, how all of those people collaborated to make this happen. I thought that this is awesome and wanted to share it with you.

Markus Fischer led the team at Festo that developed the first ultralight artificial bird capable of flying like a real bird. Many, from Leonardo da Vinci to contemporary research teams, tried to crack the “code” for the flight of birds, unsuccessfully.
